I might actually still have one in the parts bin. But, depending on the rain (Ida) we get here, I may not want to get out there to the shop until Wednesday

Longshot looking left (early Atom)
Was digging in the box of leftover projects and picked out a crusty old pedal, cleaned up real nice and after tweaking the cones it spins pretty nice too.
But it's a right side all by itself, so I'm looking for the left, would like to put them on that Dynamax to make an all-french build...

Hi, I am looking to trade for a smaller frame, this one is marked 57.....For some reason my Bertoni which is marked the same size (57) which I can ride, but for some reason this frame is a bit too large. These Bianchi's seem to be on the larger side so I am thinking 54-55
Paint has a few nicks but absolutely no crazing or dents. I am not looking for anything other than a TT frame, so please no other trades....also , please only reply with a PM not a reply on this thread.
Best, Ben
just a few nick ,"nothing" major
Frame "only".

WTT: 32H Campagnolo Record front hub for a similar Record 36H front hub
I have a nice 32-hole Campagnolo Record low-flange front hub, I'm looking to trade for a similar 36-hole Campagnolo Record front hub. I haven't checked the date codes on the locknuts, but I can do that if it make a difference to you. More photos available on request (or flickr album here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmRRLb9w).
I'm happy to polish up a 36H hub on my end, as long as the cups and races are smooth, or open to swapping hub shells if needed.
Thanks in advance!

Here's a fun one. This is on RX100 (BL-A550) levers, I need the LEFT plastic piece shown as #3 in grey, or maybe both if it's another color?
Certain Shimano 105 levers (BL-1055) use this same part!
It looks like Shimano 500EX levers (BL-A500) use a compatible part! (it's not directly the same, but testing an orphan lever worked!)
Popping it off is easy. Pull back the hood, insert a flat blade screwdriver along the top where you see the circle on the part below, and when you wedge the plastic away from the lever, it should pop out/down.
Happy to exchange for ?? You tell me.

I am doing some house cleaning and have two wheels that are searching for a new home. First is a Raleigh branded front wheel with original skewer 700c. Second is a rear wheel with older Shimano freewheel hub missing a spacer and lock nut, 27 X1-1/4. As always cost of shipping. Take either one or both; they just need to leave here to keep the friendly fire from the War Department down. PM me. Smiles, MH

Any chance anyone has an extra serrated washer for a Dia Compe 960 canti brake? (Pictured below.)
I bought the brakeset knowing there were three and was only intending to use the cable hangers, but now I have a bike with canti brakes and would like to use them. I have small bits to trade, lemme know…

noobinsf , I have a few of these types of washers, but I do not know what size you are looking for., or if what you need is specific for that caIiper. I can measure the outside and inside diameters, and thickness, if you can tell us what you need, I may be able to help. I can post pics here.

Up for Grabs . . . for Parts Only
OK, per the site I'm "old enough" now (smile) - so here goes. This dates from the late-1990s, so hopefully this is apropos for C&V.
Available: one Shimano BB-7700 (Dura Ace, Octalink I, English thread, 68mm) - FOR PARTS ONLY. It is NOT suitable for use "as is".
Short version: the following portions appear to be in good condition; terms for the parts are per Shimano's exploded diagram for the BB.
1. "left" (NDS) adapter unit, adjuster ring, and seal guard;
2. "left" (NDS) bearings, retainers, and c-ring;
3. "left" (NDS) cone (pressed onto spindle but shown in Shimano exploded diagram as being removable, presumably with proper shop tools);
4. inner cover and o-rings;
5. "right" (DS) adapter unit, c-ring, and seal guard; and
6. "right" (DS) bearing retainers (ball and needle).
The following parts do NOT appear usable:
1. spindle (drive side needle bearing race area is severely pitted/corroded), and
2. "right" (DS) bearings (some were lost due to unexpected retainer exit from DS adapter unit while being cleaned/degreased; some or most of the remaining ones are pitted/corroded).
"Right" (DS) cone is also pressed onto spindle. IMO it shows minor pitting in a couple of places and may or may not be usable in a pinch. Doesn't look too good for long-term use, though.
Background: this BB was on a rather nice mid/late-1990s frame I obtained recently. The BB was indicated as "needing replacement due to friction".
I didn't plan to use an Octalink crankset on the ensuing build, but I thought I'd see if the BB was salvageable via thorough cleaning and service (the BB-7700 is somewhat rare in that it's a "cartridge" design that's also completely disassemblable and user-serviceable). If so, I had planned to keep it for potential future use or trade.
Unfortunately, as noted above it doesn't seem salvageable.
I suspect the BB wasn't serviced as regularly as it should have been (or if it was, the DS adapter was never removed during service and thus wasn't serviced very well). My guess is that at some point the previous owner hosed down the bike with relatively high-pressure water before storing it leaning to the drive side. My conjecture is that some water got past the seals or otherwise somehow got into the BB shell; the seals then kept part of said water in the DS bearings so that they and the spindle in the same area corroded.
What I have is available to the first to PM me. If you're in the US, I'll cover postage - I'll consider that a modest bit of "paying it forward" and/or payment for the enjoyment and good info I've gotten viewing these forums in the past. (If you're not in the US, we may well need to talk about the postage depending on cost.) If I happen to get two or more "I'll take it" PMs with same date/time stamp, alphabetical seniority (no case distinction, letters before numbers, "a" is highest) based on forum username will determine who gets it. I will also include a printed copy of Shimano's exploded diagram for the BB.
These BBs seem to be getting hard to find, and getting a new spindle and DS bearings doesn't seem feasible for anything near a reasonable cost for something I'm not planning to ever use myself. (The proper loose needle bearings and the spindle in particular seem very difficult to find; Shimano says the balls are standard 1/8" ball bearings.) But someone might be able to use the other good parts, so I hate to just toss it.
Any takers?

I am quoting myself here, but I am a believer that Schwinn came up with the best method to retain a front wheel in the absence of any other retention (nuts, skewer, etc), and it is stupid easy to release the wheel when you need to do it.
In the past I had scorned the need for any retention method, but now I think I was wrong.
