PARTING OUT: 1976 Eisentraut Touring Limited

Financial circumstances & changing life goals necessitate sale.

This is not a sale for a complete bike. I have a ton of money sunk into this bike and the only way that to recoup most of it is to part it out.

Below is a photo of the Eisentraut as I built it last autumn. It shows the frame and every part which will be offered for sale here separately:

---

No item should be considered as officially for sale until photos, description, and prices have been provided for that item. I will list items with that information as time allows by updating this thread accordingly.

---

Please note: All sales will ship within CONUS only. Payment will be accepted through PayPal only.

---

Here is the list of what will be offered. As mentioned, when items become officially for sale they will be added to this thread to include photos, descriptions, and prices:

Sorry to hear that, DJ. Good luck selling.

Love the black Cyclone stuff. Very sharp/cool. Is there a difference between the Sun Tour blue line and black line shifters? I know the ARX were similar but assigned a higher model number and not painted.

Item #4

SOLD

Suntour New Winner Ultra 6 speed freewheel. A custom build. I started the wide range FW and swapped a couple of cogs with another in order to end up with a desired range of 13t, 15t, 18t, 21t, 25t, 30t to use in a half step set up. Cogs show minimal wear, body is flushed and lubed with nicely clicking but quiet pawls. Donor body and remaining cogs are included (note: it has two 14t cigs), as is a Park Tool FR-2 removal tool.

According to Velobase these are long reach brakes that cover 47-57 mm. I'm about to use the exact same setup on the Team USA. Converting it from 27" rims to 700c and these calipers cover the change just fine. Beautiful brakes and levers for sure and you've already taken care of the new pads. My setup is mint but without hoods but I did just order the Soma ones. I'll need to swap out the original brake pads I suspect and will probably do what you did. This is an awesome deal for someone.

Item #15

SOLD
White Industries floating bottom bracket. Mish mash of comparable parts includes the following:

• 123 mm chomo spindle
• 114 mm titanium spindle

• 2 aluminum locking outer collars
• 4 aluminum bearing cups
• 2 recently installed Enduro 6903 cartridge bearings

I used the longer steel spindle for a TA Pro 5 Vis crank. The titanium spindle could work great for a double.

I can't promise, but I believe these are JIS tapers.

Not the best design for a BB in my opinion. But still serviceable, and perhaps handy. Difficult to set the collars just so. Expect a tiny bit of spindle play
perpendicular to the bottom bracket. Just enough to be noticable. Of course, you might be able to dial it in better than I was.

$50 shipped SOLD LOCALLY

PYC 9 speed super light chain.

No more than a couple dozen miles on this chain. It performed very well with a 3 x 6 set up using an Ultra spaced Suntour freewheel and Cyclone derailleurs. Wiped clean with a little White Lightning residue left behind, and maybe the tiniest amount of road grime.

108 links plus master link. The 6 links and pins cut from length when new are included as well.
