Has Anyone Ever Attended the "Big Honkin' Trike Rally" in FL?
Came across info about this event on Facebook and
.. Looks like fun! I'd love to attend, but it's a hell of a long drive from here in upstate NY. But I'm still considering it.....
Has anyone here ever attended it? If so, I'd love to hear your experience including where an out-of-stater would stay overnight - maybe some place with secured trike storage?

Yes. I attended the first one just before Covid exploded. I highly recommend it. We stayed at the Central Motel in Inverness which is where most people stay.

Thanks for your reply!
Do the motels in the area generally offer any kind of facility for overnight trike storage? My trike won't fit in my car and i'm reluctant to just leave it on the rack in a public place.

I’d just take it in the room. I’m not familiar with any other motels in the area.

I've not attended, but had a great time riding my trike the length of the Withlacoochee Trail. I encountered a heck of a lot more trikes there than I do in NC. We stayed in a Quality Inn in Hernando just north of Inverness with no issues related to the trike.

This looks about the same size as what the Smoky Mountain Recumbent Rally was when I attended that in 2016. The Withlacoochee Trail would be a nice attraction inaddition to getting with lots of other trikers. The SMRR isn't specifically a trike rally; but I think I was one of only 2 people on 2 wheels.
