1998 Giant Team Once Replica
I recently picked up this Giant Team Once replica. After a bit of the 'ol googling I realised this ugly ducking might actually be a pretty special bike given that it ushered in modern road bike geometry. Cycling Pulse reckons it's the most important road bike ever made
GCN also has some cool things to say about the bike
. All this nice historical stuff aside I'm wondering what something like this might be worth. I'm in Europe. It doesn't feel like a very high-end bike and has an 8 speed Campagnolo Mirage/ Veloce groupset (right brifter is kapot and I will replace it and other wearables).

Not sure, but the hyperbolic claim of Cycling Pulse that this is the most important road bike ever made made me chuckle, so thanks for that!
As you note it was a "replica" with lower spec than the real team bikes. Aesthetically it's a challenge, but perhaps it will be collectible (who knows, maybe it already is) but I've not seen much of a demand for these transitional racing bikes.
