In light of post #9859, I grant you permission to post one appropriately celebratory video for your nearby four-star football player committing to Los Volunteers.

Thank you. It was a disaster, but I kicked it into overdrive and got it fired up. I thought this would be the first time it would be dark in all our years of doing this. And, I got the trainer work done, and it's way before ten pm!

I didn't think it would be lit tonight. (I think) a kiddie pool blew across that row of candy canes and broke a bunch. Heads were gone from dogs, tipped over, missing ears and tails...
I pulled up and was pretty distressed, but it's really as good as new now. Being a hoarder helps. Popping up to the garage attic to grab some candy canes was a big help. Now I just need to clean up the back yard. Holy cow. A mural (???), that little pool I mentioned, a bunch of kitchen type trash cans (??) and a bunch of other crap.. Crazy.

I've accumulated 6 spares. A 9 speed take-off from a gear change I did for a friend. Two 10 speed Campys (one is missing the 17t). An 11 speed Campy. and Two Shimano 11 speeds.

I don't know why, but my strong preference is to build with a single groupset for each bike. About as far as I diverge from that is the mix of two generations of Dura Ace on the Ritchey.

That's the wrong approach. If you can afford all that stuff, then you can afford to pay the fines, as a matter of fact you are most likely to get a ticket that you will probably pay rather than go to court because that's what cops do now. They generate revenue
