Looking for tactical cycling pants

i need some new pants for work , has anyone tried ro seen any tactical cool-ish looking military styled cycling pants , i bought these a while back and they have the right amount of flex and freedom on movement and they dont feel like cheap sweat pants https://www.amazon.com/Baleaf-Windpr...=cycling+pants ,

i need something that's tougher than a cotton sweat pant pant but has the flex and feel , i wish i could find a tactical style military pant with a elastic waist band if anyone has some unique pants please post below ...

Didn't you want to add goofy doo-dads to your wheels to be more "aero"? Now you want tactical pants which aren't aero? I am confused?

Prana Stretch Zion are definitely pricey for leg-pipes, but they are very comfortable, stretchy and look nice enough to wear to the office.

They have little snaps that will hold the pant leg rolled up for the drive-side.

Maybe look into what the bicycle patrol police officers are using.

My solution was Magellan or Columbia "fishing" pants with cycling shorts underneath.

SwissGear makes a 'Tech Khaki' that has a good stretch, articulated knees, and is narrow enough through the cuff, that you don't need to worry about keeping it off the chainrings.
Comes in black and khaki ~$20 at Wal-mart.

They have a cargo version with knee pockets, in black, tan and grey for a few bucks more, but it's a cotton blend fabric, that's too stiff and too hot for more than causal rides.

i have cycling pants and tights and compression stuff , im looking for a cycling styled or military style work pant that is not a sweat pant , and can also allow good movement , i like the baleaf pants but they are not the right material for work and the color is not dark enough , they do have an updated version so i will try those later but i think these look cool , https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 thanks for the replies

I have two pairs of those SwissGear. I'm not a huge fan of buying clothes from Walmart (I find I have trouble with Walmart clothes wearing out faster, but that's just me), but I was in looking for some casual pants to wear when riding around town and was initially looking at the Dickies flex, but they didn't have my size, saw the SwissTech and took a chance, so far they've seemed pretty good. Not the nicest pants I've ever owned but decent for riding and for the price, even survived my falling off the bike without any noticeable damage while the jacket, gloves, and shoes I was wearing all show a bit of wear from it, and I did scrape up my knee so I know the pants actually took some of the fall.

Police Uniform Tactical Pants are not cheap. Here is a link for a well known SoCal uniform shop that sells quality ware if interested.

So are you looking for tactical or tacticool? There's a difference. Is it just a look you'd prefer or do you need a specific function?
I cannot post links but you might search for Under Armour TAC Responder Pants, Tru-Spec pants, Railrider Versatac.

It's a good thing that troll food is free. If not, some of you would go broke feeding them.

I wear army surplus fatigues probably 80% of my free time, including while riding with the kids at the park. Plenty of freedom for movement and tapered legs don’t get eaten by the chainrings. Plus the gussetted construction means no seams bunching up your crack.

I’d look into what mountain bike cops wear while riding, seem to me they’re identical to military tactical pants only in black.

Sadly, no elastic.

Edit: here ya go. Just google “police bike patrol pants”.

Yep, probably this is just the start of multiple pants threads same as the saddle threads.

This is why the Levy County (read redneck) folks around my parts don’t cycle - no camo bike gear at Bass Pro and Walmart.

Army/navy surplus stores ask them for broken in trousers. Cut legs off to desired length and there you go cheap short that will be soft.
