Quick Release SPD pedals on Brompton

Looking for quick release SPD clipless pedals for my Brompton. How do you compare US-S Ezy and Wellgo Quick release clipless pedal, QRD2?
Where and how do you keep the detached left pedal conveniently?

Since the right-side pedal can remain in place permanently, you only need a pedal holder for the left-side pedal

Mine are MKS Ezy superior, magnetic holder keeps it safe on the left side. Pedal holders for EZY are much wider available.

I bought a pair of Wellgo QRD2 but found them too hard to clip on. It may be because the QRD2 actually does not fit well with the Shimano SH51 cleats. One of the four adjustment screws came off while I tried to lose its tension. After that, there was no way to assemble it back because of the strong tension of the spring. The design and the quality of the Wellgo QRD2 pedals are way lower than that of the Shimano XTR.

I am only about 55 kg. You may still be able to use the Wellgo QRD2 if you are heavier or you use the original Wellgo cleats.
