Hello, hellooor, Helloooor

Hi there! (refrains of Bonzo Dog echoing in the canyons of...etc)

Retired and Just getting back into it with a new bike present (Lime green Flam'. Mercian Vincitore special) from me to me on my recent 70th.
Currently hunting for a classic saddle bag that's not to large and not too small but is just right.... To date I have used either my Billingham L2 or 225 camera bags to take stuff out but ow! my shoulders/back! So want a bike bag that's take my DSLR with one lens , bike tops, lunch and a waterproof.

Looking at the Barley (green) at the mo and browsing these forums. But also checking out leather bags. The L2 is about 3 litres but irma wee bit snmall whereas the 225 is about 7 litres but that's a bit big. 4 to 5 litres approx should be plenty. I'll get a Nelson or similar later when I can make it further afield but for now it's a day bag I need so any suggestions ( as long astheyre not rude)

It's a whole new learning curve researching tyres, bags, jackets etc....sheeesh

Hello and welcome. You have nice taste in gifts! Carradice "Zipped Roll" is 3.5 litres. Not sure if that is enough for you.
