1985 Trek 620 22.5”
It’s in good condition. No dings to the frame but it has a few paint chips/scratches. The rear derailleur was swapped out some time back. I do have the original Hueret Duopar Eco derailleur for it that I will include.
What’s a fair asking price for this touring bike with long chain stays?

I think it will be worth your while to install the Huret duopar rear derailleur before sale. Anyone who wants this bike wants a vintage bike and the Huret derailleurs and shifters are very good. This is a fine vintage touring bike and it presents nicely. The market is soft but this is a quality bike and the supply is limited so shoot on the high side of the valuation range you will get. I'd shoot for $500-$600 in a good sized city like Milwaukee.

You likely will want to fix the bar tape as well to get top dollar. Depending on how OCD your prospective buyers are, you may want to route the rear cable over the handlebars. The BF crew is likely to say something about this but then they're the keen on the Velominati rules. I find that a small zip clip helps hold the brake cable housing together so it looks a bit nicer. They used to make little gizmos to hold brake cables together but zip clips are a lot easier to source and work fine.

I am thinking perhaps $300-350 asking price...it is a nicer old road bike but not full 531 frame.
