2015 Soma Smoothie

Hello all! Perhaps not vintage, I am trying to sell a 2015 Soma Smoothie and am wondering how much it's worth (I am a total amateur at cycling). It's got some cosmetic damage from U-Lock, but otherwise in good condition. Attaching photos here. Another one is selling for $850 on Ebay at the moment, albeit in better condition. Thanks so much for your assistance!!

I sold my white Smoothie a year ago, it was in somewhat better condition than yours, got $400 quickly on FB Marketplace.

Keep in mind that eBay “buy it now” prices are meaningless for evaluation. Check “sold” listings instead.

Very nice bike. I've admired the Soma brand. They ten to use Tange Prestige tubing, which is high quality. I bet it is a great rider. Sadly, in these times it probably isn't going to fetch anywhere near $800, even if arguments can be made that replacing it for that is impossible. That's always been the "catch 22" in my opinion.

Good luck!

Edit: And, check out the recommendations from knowledgeable, experienced people like wrk101 here, who will explain how they maximize their return on investment. Good photos are crucial and making sure bar tape is in great shape are a start. Make it to where the consumer doesn't have to do anything to the bike in order to ride it. Leave loose ends and they'll pull them and ask you to lower your price.

Looks like you have it listed at $600, probably not a bad starting point. There is another listed at $600 locally that has been lingering. I have seen "asking prices" in the $800's but I don't think they are moving. Market is tough right now, might require patience or willingness to lower price to what the market will bear, good luck
