I have a bit over 5000 miles. But probably 800 or so are on the hamster wheel.

All other factors aside, 2020 was alright by me, at least cycling-wise. I rode my lowest number of miles, climbed the least, didn't break 3k feet on a single ride, and had just a single ride over 100 miles-- which was on December 26th. I did more walking, I cared less about speed or power, and it felt really good. I hope to ride even fewer miles in 2021.

8,800+ miles which is approx 2,800 more than usual. I'd take the usual 6k a year and normal times anyday.

Not the Velo Vol of the glory days, but I did have a gain of 1,921 miles over 2019, so at least there was that.
Note: All the miles were real.

2900 mile increase over 2019. This year my goal is 6000+. I changed my routes some to increase distance but keep the climbing the same or little less and hope to see my speed pick up to 15.5+. At my age and weight the hills really do a number on my speed.

As someone that hates flat riding, I agree.
Distance 4,813.6 mi
Elev Gain 524,367 ft
Got my half million feet of climbing, but I could not get to 5K miles. All outdoor road bike riding. I did get to 5K with my runs, which I try to keep as flat as possible (for speed).

1,630 miles.
I spent 2/3 of the year dealing with my 91 year old mother, who passed away in August, & pretty much just fell off the back, cycling-wise.
Last month I did get married to my girlfriend of nine years, 'tho, so there's that...

2020 saw 4,916 miles with 209,537 ft of climbing for me in a mix of road, gravel and MTB. That was the biggest year for me for both of those metrics.

Not sure, probably a lot less than previous years due to me picking up a smart trainer in February. My time/TSS has been pretty consistent despite the lack of racing. Force of habit I suppose.

Just figured out how to get the infographic from Veloviewer. My total cycling miles is under 5K, it just added my runs as well. Rides are as hilly as possible, runs are as flat as possible.

My goal was 7000 for the year but my last ride was on 11/22, two days before I started treatment for breast cancer Today was my first ride since 2020. I'm still going through treatment but am tolerating chemo well and hope to be able to bike. My trainer should arrive any day now, for those days where I might not be feeling too well.
