Lifesport closing down after 47 years
The last Lifesport is closing it's doors for good here in town. Small owner / operator shop at 411 Pembina Highway. Not sure if Walter (the owner) "died suddenly" or not but he is no longer with us and there is no plan to continue operation. Some good deals there for the locals.

Every time I see some bike shop closing its doors I think, "we will never get a bike shop in Bastrop Texas..."...

My sincere hope is that the place doesn't become yet another Pho / Falafel / Punjab restaurant or nail shop.
