19.6 miles(31.5k). Nasty weather prevented riding Tue-Thur. Still a bit cool in the a.m. but I got a slow ride in today in sunshine (still weak from anemia).

Rode 18 miles on Mon. On Tue we got hit by the rare CT tornado. Roads are covered in debris and downed wires still. Too busy hauling water and gasoline anyway. Maybe next week...

First ride on recumbent in 18 months.
Muscle memory: fine. Wobbly for 5 yards, that’s all.
Time in saddle: not sure.
Distance: dunno.
Average moving speed: no idea.
Average non-moving speed: pretty sure it was 0. Can’t remeber if that’s Imperial or metric.
Notable sighting: 1 neighborhood hawk. Time to move Bitsy the Shih-Tzu indoors.
I guess that’s it.

13.3 miles (21.4k) . Intermittent sunshine, questionable weather for the next week (again). Just feeling really tired so I cut the ride short.

A bug filled and slow overnight/early AM 156 miles. Wind was down but flying protein was abundant in copious amounts. YUK !!!!!

Passed on a longer club ride because of predicted rain but did get in 20 tandem miles from home. Poured down about an hour after return.

40 solo miles today. Hot and so humid that it might as well have rained.

I went out yesterday on a beautiful, calm morning, got to the northernmost point of my wide just in time for a 25 mph south wind to pick up for the return ride home. Still, never a bad ride. I was even able to catch a local cricket match while out and about.

No rain & full sunshine!

I live in West Row, Suffolk, UK. I rode to Mildenhall, then to Worlington, past a newly plowed field to Jude's Ferry Pub, and through West Row back to my house. A little over 9km.

16.7miles (26.9k) on another nice morning between rain showers. Still cool enough for long pants and sleeves. More rain on the way.

I got a late start today, so ended up riding in the 90 degree heat and humidity. I still got in 93 minutes.

45 Miles.Weather said it would be cold with rain showers so I headed up into the mountains so it would be a short quick ride home if the rain came. Well it was warm with not a drop of rain anywhere, So I kept climbing. Century Dr. to Mt. Bachelor is one very long steep hill. I rode until I didn't feel like climbing any more, turned around for a very fast decent down to the flat lands. 4:00 is usually the warmest part of the day. so even though I was climbing into the mountains it kept getting warmer. Even had the sun on my back on the ride home. Steep hills with very few flat sections to recover is one hell of a work out.

Once again scared away from a club ride an hour to our northwest by forecast of rains. Apparently not a problem .
But, we did get out for a 30 mile tandem ride from home. Some of the same roads as yesterday's 20 mile ride. Some nice rollers both out and back.

Just got back into cycling regularly...

Got a new bike, just to kick start the motivation and it's been working!
Been cycling for 38 years and had some good and bad years. But rode again this morning. Short and sweet before heading off to the daily grind. But the fastest ride this year so far!

48 miles in the best possible weather, bright sun, mid 70s, no wind, lake as blue as the sky.
Well, 35 miles, an IPA and pulled pork BBQ, and quick 13 to burn off some of that lunch.

Yesterday was a complete washout with the constant on and off rain. This morning I snuck in a 103 minute ride before the pop-up showers start again.
The only consolation with all this rain is that the cloudiness is moderating temperatures a little, but the humidity is through the roof.

Note to self: Start carrying a spare headband to deal with all the sweat in the eyes.

21 miles today as a bike commuter. Got to work < 1 minute later than I would have because of traffic blocking my way when the light turned green for me. Guess I could have rang my little bell or yelled "Get out of my way - please!"

52 Miles. 88° on a beautiful day, with hardly a cloud in the sky. Took one of my insulated water bottles 3/4 full of frozen water. Cold water is so much more refreshing than warm water. Won't be long until it will be two frozen insulated bottles. Lots of hills, very fast going down, very slow going back up. Rode by my daughter's house, she was out on the porch, enjoying the sun. She was drinking some Crux, carbonated, unsweetened fruity water. Of course I demanded a daddy tax, it took a few seconds and a trip way back in time before she remembered what I was talking about. I think I'll stick to water.

Doernbecher Children's Hospital Benefit Ride

Not today, but Saturday, May 19, five of our family members rode the 25 mile course in a Benefit for Doernbecher Children's Hospital sponsored by local Kiwanis Clubs. Fun ride on rural roads, out and back from Coquille to Myrtle Point, Oregon Weather was perfect with overcast skies. The sun popped out just as we returned. At 23 miles, we were lapped by three of the 61 mile course riders! Hamburger BBQ at the finish.

I did 16.2 miles today at noontime. Bright blue sky and 75 degrees...perfect weather for it...Minimal traffic also.
It's supposed to get to 85 this coming Friday, which for here is VERY unseasonable !!
