Kokopelli Trail & Surly Long Haul Trucker
Hey everyone,
Rode the Kokopelli Trail last October and wanted to share my bike that I modified for it. My Surly Long Haul Trucker that took me from Fruita, CO to Moab,UT. I love this bike. I did a few modifications to get it to where I wanted and thought it would be good to share it here. I have a full write up on this via my blog so stop by there for the full read. Slow Rider
I use a Surly LHT for similar offroad rides. Fortunately, I use 26" so 2.1 tires fit without having to shave anything. It is a versatile bike.

I have taken my LHT off road, although not for more than a day at a time. Handles dirt well.
