If you used to ride a San Marco Rolls...

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What do you ride now? Trying to find a good saddle for my adolescent son, and so far he likes the Rolls that came on our tandem. I'd rather not spend $150 for a second one for his single bike ($85+ for used ones unless they look thrashed), but he's not liking the other ones I have in my collection either. So what do you suggest?

You might want to post in C&V cuz a Rolls is an old model and there are a lot of folks there who know them well.

Is a Turbo really like the Rolls? I recall people liking one or the other, but personally have never tried a Rolls and probably couldn't compare it to the Turbo I last had in 1993 if I tried.

I have a Rolls Due and do not like it all. I been riding these Arione clones by Velo (sold under different names) for years and find them really comfortable and they look cool in white

https://www.ebay.com/itm/29375276875...cAAOSwZmpfbXM3 - the ad says microfiber but cover is "leatherette"
