Hello from Texas, again.
I was a member here before, but it has been a few years since I have been on this forum. So I am reintroducing myself.
I have a Giant Transcend that I have not rode in awhile and I am starting up riding again. I lost about 27 lbs last summer riding and I am going to try to knock off the next twenty to get to my goal weight.
I am also thinking of getting an e bike. I am not sure of which one though. I will do some research here and ask some questions to help me make that decision.
I am looking forward to perusing and getting back into the swing of things. Thanks for letting me join back on.

Hi, I just recently moved to Texas and am excited to see what this state brings with cycling compared to Florida.

Welcome. I'm new here but I read that you are looking for an ebike? Are you going to build it or buy it ready to ride?
I have been looking at this for a while myself. I watched a YouTube video recently that explains how to convert a used car alternator into a brushless bike motor.
It is powerful and cheap. (Excluding the battery cost).

I will be buying it. After a little reading I think I should have said I am looking for an electrical assist bike. I believe there is a difference.
but in the future I may look at tinkering with building one.
