Charlie is best known as the man who made the first mountain bikes out of oversized aluminum tubing. But his MTB innovations were numerous as outlined in the link posted by crank_addict.

That hit close to home, I known from very bitter experience just how long these brain injuries can take to heal. Too bad they only do credit cards...
