Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You had a rare opportunity to see and cheer for the Big Orange in nearby Boulder. Shame.

Indeed a shame. I was busy riding and sourcing half-fold greeting card paper. That is also as rare as hens teeth these days.

Speaking of late adapters, no classical radio in CNY until the '70s?

I like pie, especially Apple pie. I do not root for UGA. I was happy with the result. It was a welcomed salve to my bruised and battered self.

There was a different classical station in Syracuse, before WCNY.

On my latest health insurance claims statement, the "new" place I went for my last mouse drug infusion billed $21,070.70. SMH.

($18,330.90 of that was written off as "network savings"). Absurd.
