1991 Mongoose IBOC
I love it when the locals "downsize" and have to shed a few relics from their youth.
I got this little treasure last evening and it only needed a bit of spray lube to get the shifters working perfectly.
A 20-inch frame and bit too small for me but very nice.
The woman who owned this Mongoose IBOC bought it new in 1991, rode it seldom (and not in this century), and was glad to see it gone.
Is there any interest in these old rigid cro-moly bikes ?

Given you are in the hottest bike market in North America, anything is likely sellable.
Here in a dead market, it would be part out time.
I had a higher end version of this bike, in my market, it became a donor bike.

I guess I'm a little more optimistic on this one. I think it has good value. Looks hardly ridden. Try to nail down the year and see if you can find info on completed sales.

It always surprises me when I find a really nice (or expensive) bike that has been used briefly and then stored for decades.
This bike is the 1991 version of the Mongoose IBOC.
After 1992 the IBOC models were made with aluminum frames with triangular profile or had front suspension.
Today it got new derailleur cables, and fresh grease in crank and wheel bearings.
I'll offer it on the local for $300 CAN ( $230 US) or BEST OFFER to get it to a good home.

You are in Toronto, right? If so, I think it should sell fast at that price.
