Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have the 2011 model (Ultegra, fsa compact crank) and swapped the wheels (already decent Mavic Ksyrium Equipes), with my Easton EA90s. Cliff notes version, I love the bike.

Below is my review

Ignore the introduction theme.

Here's someone's review of a Focus Izalco Ultegra bike.

This guys need to get somebody else to ride the bike, the sucker that rides it pedaling technique just sucks, not even talk about going out of the saddle and the fit.

To me the bike looks like any chinese 500 bucks frame but it says focus izalco. Remember they looked different before... ???now all the bikes looks the same... even looks like a trek.

Nice looking bike. What bike isn't a $500 frame from China? Even the celebrated Italian snobbery is made in Eastern Asia... But ya it does kinda look like Trek. There are a lot of manufacturers that look the same.

Did not want to sound bad... yes everything is fomr asia i know that part but doesnt look special like it was a couple of years ago. They looked different, and why spend like a lot of money when you can get the frame only for a like 1/3 of the price? Or even a trek, that thing looks almost identical to the new madones
