What crank puller? Ofmega Premier on Hutsebaut

I have spent time on BF and Google trying to determine what tool will work on this Ofmega Premier (?) crank. My standard Park Tools puller grazes the threads but is obviously not the right tool. Its on a P Hutsebaut frame (Limongi built). Could it be French threaded? Speculation only ... I am not much of a mechanic and certainly not versatile in my mechanical knowledge. Please advise so I do not ruin this very nice crank and frame!

I never heard if Ofmega cranks have a different size threaded hole compared with other cranks, but it does happen, at least with Stronglight cranks, which had bigger threaded holes on their older (mostly pre-80's) models. Many Stronglight cranks are damaged by their owners when they try to remove them using the smaller more universal sized removal tool..... I'm wondering if it's the same case with some Ofmega cranks.

Just to rule it out, are you using the double sided CCP-1 Park puller with the TA on one side and standard puller on the other?

That looks like a Super Competizione set. Nice! Should work with a 22 x 1 puller, AFIK.

This is a close-up of the marking at the top of the crank arm if that helps. Is this even an Ofmega crank?

So Tevano cranks were an early TA model and yes, you'll nee a TA crank puller if I were a betting man.

I'd bet t.a. first and Stronglight second. One of the best tools I ever bought combines both.

Park double-sided puller should work using the larger 23mm end.

May I suggest this tool: STRONGLIGHT 23.3 mm Crank Puller Extractor Remover Tool and Specialites TA 23x1
You might be able to find cheaper version by searching "Stronglight Crank Puller". it works on both the 23mm Spécialités T.A. as well as the 23.3mm Stronglight threading.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago and it has worked fine since. Especially since I occasionally buy mystery cranks from French eBay.

Another possibility is that sometime in the history of the bike, the threads were pulled out and an oversize thread repair was done with a tool such as offered by Var or J.A.Stein. In that case, the threads would be M24 x 1.5

@clubman hit the money with identifying this as a Tevano crankset. Velobase confirms it requires the 23 mm TA extractor. Thanks everyone.
