Old British Eagle road bike

Hi All

Having a clear out of the garage and found an old British Eagle road bike. It is my wife's and she had it second hand from her friend back in 1970, but it was originally new we think in the 60's.
Was formerly metallic blue.

Before we look for a new home for it or skip it, is this bike of any value at all? I suspect not, but you never know!

I have tried to upload an image of the bike, but apparently I can't do this until I have made 10 posts already, so maybe someone could give me a general guide as to whether these bikes are worth hanging on to or not.
It is in average condition, but still functions.

Thank you....

I have a British Eagle I believe to be from the late 70s that is very well made. I haven't really been able to find much information about it. Most of my searches bring up early 80s mountain bikes.

Thanks for your help guys.

It's not a particularly desirable looking bike, so will let it go.

Appears to be a Japanese-made bike in excellent condition. It has what were very good Japanese components at the time. The rear gear cable needs to be sorted. Tubular (sew-up) tires. Little to no signs of use. I've never heard of the brand.
