VALUE 1x11 Gravel Group
here is an unbelievable 11 speed gravel offering from LTWOO (found on AliExpress and others):
I've built like ten gravel bikes using their 9-speed road shifters + Shimano rear derailleur + derailleur extender, and that's worked great and all, but this bundle is 11 speed AND cheaper and no extender needed and now I'm a little bit mad about it

Looking at the L-TWOO website, it indicates that the GR9 rear derailleur has a 42t max with a 50t chain wrap capacity. That doesn't equal a 50t cassette compatibility. I do like the fact that the shifters don't use the brake lever as a shift paddle.

Not this one but I've had the Sensah SRX 1x11 on my drop bar MTB for about a year and a half and have never had any functional issues with it. It was very set and forget and I can use it with a 50t cassette down to a 10t sprocket.
State Bicycle uses it and rebranded for their bikes. If you want something that's been tested I can recommend that.

Banned.
If using MTB sets is an option, then MTB 1x11 is going to be considerably cheaper than gravel versions. You can even get quality Shimano MTB 1x11 relatively cheap if you're tight on budget.
However, MTB 1x11 is likely going to be incompatible with Brifters. So this option is only available if using flat bar or using special gravel dropbars that also work with MTB brake levers on your gravel bike.

it's not insane, it's just stupid, but yes, the 11 speed road shifters are apparently "r9," the 11 speed gravel shifters are "gr9"
the rear derailleurs likewise have the same confusing naming scheme, but it's not much different than confusing names like 'Shimano 105 7020' or 'SRAM RED, BLACK ED'
