"This is a vintage circa 1980s Serotta Colorado LT originally a time trial bike. The 56/42 chain ring that came with it was too much to push so was replaced with a 51/38, but it will come with the former chainrings and chain. It has been recently renovated for road use with new chain and tires. 56cm frame, NOTE 650cm x 23mm tires, old school for time trial bikes. I upgraded so making room in the garage, $500 or best offer.

Not a give-away deal but looks like an early '70s with the "leaf" stay caps and a color I am partial to. Needs some hoods. bar tape, saddle and probably new sew-ups. But the frame seems in good shape and has Campy FD/RD/Hubs? I'd look carefully at that stem in case it's a break-away AVA, but probably it's a Pivo.

Got it! It does not have willow leaf seat stay caps but does have brake bridge. Unusually it has campagnolo rear dropouts (not 1010) and simplex fork ends 😀. Campagnolo grand sport f/r DR, shifters, and cable guide, tipo hubs. Mavic monthery hoops (round/true). Mafac comp brakes. Pivo stem. Huret cable guides. was a true barn find per seller but thankfully no rust except some surface rust on chrome. SL 93 dust caps have never been touched. Will take some pics and share.any thoughts on how to date it ? You’re right unworthy1 it’s in good shape all considering. Appears “shelf” wear not from use…

1986 All Original Ross Mount Hood. Seat Post is Free, Completely Rebuilt (See Rebuild list below)....
- Super Light Chromed "Cromoly" Triple Butted Alloy Frame, bike weighs 30 lbs.
- Brand New KMC Chain, Recent Tires and Brakes ( have plenty of life in them ).
- Wheels have been tuned, Wheels spin True, No flat spots, Rebuilt Bearings Spin like butter
- All Bearings Rebuilt; Both Wheel Bearings, Bottom Bracket, Headset Bearings in Great Shape, Cleaned and Repacked with Lithium White Grease.
- In Excellent Condition, Chrome has been Polished, all Original Suntour 21 Speed Components.
- Shifters, Derailleurs, and Brakes have been cleaned, blown out and lubricated. Shifts Like Butter!
- Fender, Racks, Pump and Twin Water Bottle Braze-ons (14 total).
