I roll with these and there's enough space between by face the glasses to prevent fogging.

I've experienced this and have found a simple solution. I don't much like the idea of putting stuff on my glasses. The solution sounds silly, but it works very well for me.

When I exhale I purse my lips (sort of like Donald Trump ) against the balaclava and exhale through it. I inhale through my nose or mouth, as I feel like it. It took me a short time to get used to this technique, after which it comes as second nature, and works perfectly.

For me, the glasses only fogs when I stop, so now I simply take them off if I know the light will be red for more than a few seconds...

Zombie Thread Alert! Peacefully sleeping since 2005.

Toothpaste is ok as a chain lube but not for use on lenses.

Toothpaste is a mild abrasive*; probably not a good choice for a chain lube.

Surprised I've never seen toothpaste suggested in the countless chain lube threads on BF.
I was kidding.

I have been using the RainX Anti-Fog solution on my prescription eye glasses and it is works very well. I am amazed by how well it prevents my polycarbonate lenses from fogging up on me. I highly recommend this product.

I highly recommend RainX for the windshield on the car. I put on 3 coats and I make sure I don't use the blue windshield washer fluid otherwise it strips away the RainX real quick. 3 coats will last one season and I reapply for the winter, which, obviously doesn't last as long due to the need to use the wipers more frequently.

I've never used RainX on glasses though. My glasses are quite expensive and have multiple coatings on it. I don't know how/if RainX will interact to strip the coatings but I also don't want any chemicals close to the eyes. I always wear contact lenses on a bike (I don't want my glasses falling off) and even when I wear a N95 mask because my glasses will fog up even if I am fit tested.

My primary concern is the chemicals in close proximity to the eyes.

Buff plus hat!

I found that when I switched to a buff and hat, it was easier to ride without my glasses fogging up. The balaclava just put my breath straight up to my prescription glasses. No Bueno!
I would ride with the buff up under my nose and it worked for me.

To clarify

neck warmer or fabric tube
BUff is the brand name. https://www.buffusa.com/shop-buff/mu...-category.html

The hat I wore the most was the planetX skull cap with wind proof panels on the front. I wore thinking neck gaiter or buff in colder temps.

ski shops and motorcycle shops (etc) often carry anti-fog products (treatments, cloths, etc) that will minimize fogging

Scott (maker of Scott goggles) had a no-fog cloth that worked well - not sure if they are still available

Yamaha also had a similar cloth at one time - marketed for motorcycle and snowmobile riders
