The whole city turned out for the Tour today!

I have never seen an entire country turn out for a glimpse of the peloton when passing through. The roads were as crowded in this flat stage through Denmark as the crowd that turns out for the climb up Alp d'Huez. What a sight!

You should see how the Euros act during World Cup soccer. I was in Europe in 2006 and 2010 during the tournaments, and I was in Germany when they hosted in 2006. It’s normal for everyone in traffic to get out of their cars for a few minutes after a match, or you’re in a store when everyone but one person bolts out of the store to watch the end of a match.

Very cool!

I got maybe 10 seconds of good video in 40 minutes of trying on paid Peacock, even on upgraded Premium. IME (DSL modem) it's for the birds. Too bad.

2006 ein Sommermärchen.

That literally brought goosebumps to my skin.

It was a sight, but one thing that came to mind: How many people did it take to remove all those barricades in town? There were miles of them on both sides of the roads.
