ISO Shimano labeled orphaned bar end shifter.
Hi folks,
I'm looking for a single Shimano labeled bar end shifter. Nothing special, just something functional. I'll be using it on the left side for either 2 or 3 chain rings depending on how the build goes. It will be mated with an 8 speed STI shifter on a rando style build I'm planning for a winter project.
Trade bits: a nice set of Huret DT shifters for braze-on mounting plus a bunch of vintage derailleurs, both Suntour & Shimano. Sorry, the only Cranes I have are either mangled or non-functional.
Cheers,
Van

Gipiemme Special 32H QR 100mm OLD Front Hub
Ran across this on eBay, and thought I'd post the info as someone here might be looking for one. Appears to be in good shape in photos. Obviously can't speak for cups/cones (no photos of item disassembled). No QR skewer included, unfortunately.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/255658225889
Cost is around $21 plus sales taxes, shipped (US address; shipping does vary somewhat with distance). The vendor also ships internationally, but shipping cost is much higher.
I have no commercial interest in the vendor (they're a charity). I have done business with them; they seem reliable. They do not accept offers of less than minimum starting bid.
Auction closes tomorrow at 1:42PM EDT. Vendor routinely re-lists items that don't sell at auction.

1973 Raleigh Supercourse
Available for trade:
You might have seen this in the "Craigslist finds - are you looking for one of these?" thread or the "Saved from the Dump/ Catch of the day thread" Well it is making it's rounds and has landed here at ISO for trade. If no one local has a trade handy, it will make it's way to "Pay it Forward". Bike is available to anyone who can pick-up in San Pedro, CA (South LA) - no shipping.
Couldn't help myself and went and picked this up a few weeks ago. I decided I have too many projects (and not enough room) to take this one on. As far as trade, not looking for a lot, I got the bike for free. My total investment is about $20 in gas, hour and a half of my time for pick-up and a few hours of getting started cleaning rust off the chrome and metal bits. Things I could use in trade? saddle(s), bike tools, seatpost bolt 8mm x 22mm, pedals, front rack(s), True a wheel for me? or whatever you might have? (parts, no room for more bikes)
The Good: 1973 Raleigh Supercourse - Carlton - 531 frame - Capella lugs - Complete bike
The Bad: Cracks on welds on the caps of seat stays (apparently a common Raleigh problem?), Paint is beat-up, grime and rust (I got started, crank cleaned up nicely, but plenty left), mis-matched rims
Happy to answer any questions
I will link to an album of pictures:

And NOT the older Shimano barcon that looks more like a SunTour or Campy unit, and had the coil-spring sort of fake 'retrofriction' feature?
There's a slight chance I have one of the modern jobbers, but will take a spell for me to look and see.

Hi folks,
Sorry for the confusion. I got the 8 speed indexing bar end from a friend who asked me to upgrade a Cannondale that he got cheap. It had bull horn bars on it that he wanted to keep, but update to a 10 X 2. As purchased, it had the bar end on the right & cheapo thumb shifter on the left.
The newer, the better. Just looking for someone’s left overs.
Cheers,
Van

118 BCD (SR) chainrings
I have a nice-ish Raleigh branded pair of cranks and a nice-ish Raleigh Supercourse for them to go on - but no rings.
I'd probably take anything as long as the teeth are decent...

Can anyone use this ds arm & rings. Tired of it collecting dust.
T.A. crankset for parts. Good right arm (170mm), rings (52/40t) and bolts. Left arm is botched.
.
Maybe looking for a not-ugly black Turbo saddle in trade (or something?). PM me.

Looking for Campy NR triple crank (170) and corresponding spindle. Drive side only ok, complete crankset ok.
Alternatively, triplizer chainring to fit NR double crank.
Have parts to trade, or cash. Thanks!

bump:
Told pretty much any Italian (or Zeus) axle will work.
Campagnolo axle 10mm x 26tpi and 134/135mm length. Anyone have such a beast? Alternatively I'd try a Wheels Manufacturing one? I'd take an orphan rear hub.
I'd pay cash, probably easier that trying to organize a trade

Wes,
The Wheels Mfg. should work fine and I think they would ship to you in Canada easier than I could. Smiles, MH

Thank you MH. You're right on the Wheels Manufacturing idea. I will go that route in the long run but for now I'm casually looking incase I find a cheap hub that I can pillage. This morning I installed a set of tubulars which are always a nice ride. I will give it a week or two and if no luck Wheels Manufacturing will get a call. Good thing about them - everyone seem to have a horror story about having an axle snap for an original 6/7/8 speed freewheel yet no one seems to have horror stories about Wheels Manufacturing axles......

Before buying one of these stems new, I thought I'd try here beforehand. Not sure what I have to trade (I'm in Canada BTW): Suntour a-3000 Fr / Rear derailleurs + shifters? Or, an outright buy. Lemme know, need it soon... tia

Hi,
I am looking for one Campagnolo (third generation SR) brake caliper cone-shaped nut. The third generation Super Record nut was not dome shaped like the first and second generation and not quite pyramid shaped like the later Chorus ones. Thank you!

ISO: Hub set; 36h; 126mm OLD rear hub; thread on freewheel or cassette free hub - Shimano, please.
--
To "Trade": Heliomatic hub set, presently assembled to CR18 rims. I can remove pretty quick. If someone can use the hubs or parts of the hubs..... if.
The rear hub has a PROBLEM: details here: https://www.bikeforums.net/bicycle-m...ad-repair.html -- so I guess the rear hub is only for the axle and cones.
The freewheel is fine. Let me know if more photos are needed.
- I opted not to JB weld ..... stuff.... together. So the lock ring and freewheel are good to go.
Front hub is OK. I have an axle and cones I can include in the deal. The front Malliard axle is not a thread pitch Wheels sells. And Wheels doesn't take returns, but somebody here gifted me an axle after I bought the cones.

I'm looking for a 19-21" mixte frameset that can accommodate 650x42b tires with fenders.
My mom decided she wanted a bike after I got the rest of the family riding again, and she really liked the look of the dual top tubes on my girlfriend's mixte. Something at the level of a Motobecane Grand Jubilee would be great, but I realize 650b mixtes less common. My mom's not super picky but if I could find something with lighter-weight tubing I'm sure she'd be appreciative.

Looking for a 40 hole front tandem hub. Rear is an old Phil Wood, but I'm not going to get too hung up on matching that.
I've got various hubs, if that's what you're wanting to trade. A Nuevo Record front, a low flange Campy front. A Suzue sealed pair 100/126, an American Classic 126 rear. Other stuff too!
Thanks!
