Yeah. When you’re filling out a form, come to the part that asks “Sex?” and you write “not very often”.

Sure beats “madam”.

On the other hand, I prefer, “sir, yes sir!”

You should find them, clean them up and use them. The look on peoples' faces when they see this is
worth it. And,, I think they stimulate the brain. I could be wrong.

You know you are old when you go into Best Buy, and the kids in the blue shirts leave you alone.
You know you are old when a lovely young woman catches you looking, and you just don't care.

You know you are old when you can quote from several Monty Python movies and just get blank stares. “The parrot’s not dead, it’s sleeping!”

And after reading another thread…When you can’t keep up with the slowest paced group ride.

You are correct: AFX. That wasn’t even a subtle typo! I intend to give mine to my grandson when he hits 4th grade. I have about the same amount of track and about 15 vehicles.

Then I have a couple hundred well used 60s and early 70s vintage Matchbox cars. As well as a their BP petrol station, fire station and garage. Right now he is almost 4 and in the big Tonka truck stage of life.

and you know you are old when after dinner you need a nap or a cup of coffee, or both!

With me it’s nap, coffee, or bourbon. Enjoy your grandson, they grow up fast, then again your probably old enough to know that too.
Cheers, Tim

When you start reading in the middle of a thread on BF and after reading several posts, realize you have already read them before. (If this happens more than once on the same thread - you are REALLY old).

Last month I was riding my gravel bike up some gravel/mnt bike trail. I am working hard for my 2.5 to 4 mph. I see a jogger way down the hill. He kept getting bigger..... oh no.. I am not getting passed by jogger, pedal harder...... after a few more switches backs the bstrd caught me and passed me ha-ha

Next year I will probably get passed by a hiker, the year after then maybe the person with the walker.

I have been passed by almost every combination going up hill on the road. Getting passed by someone on two feet was humbling though. damn jogger... I am sure he had a good laugh. ha-ha

In my 20s I was a pretty fair runner, but the highlight was passing a woman riding a bike up a long grade. It took about 10 minutes to chase her down and pass. She looked shocked as I ran by and breathlessly said, Hi. It was a first, and a last.

And now I know I am old because running hurts my back for days so it isn’t worth it.

I also know I am getting old when my dad is turning 91 in August and my mom turns 90 in two days.
