Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They look so good brand new. But it's only a matter of time . . .

I test-rode the 2014 Madone. They did what they could to fit me but I need the H1 geometry because of my long torso. Still, even with an extra-long stem, it was a fantastic-handling bike. The bone-rattling stiffness that the Madone used to have is gone. If I can get past the rear brake placement, I am getting one, an H1. It is simply a great bike. I have never ridden a bike that handles this well.

I have rode it three times and this is a great bike to ride. Came from a aluminum frame and man what a difference.

You should spring for an out-front Garmin mount and go black with your bar tape. (not that you were asking)

Trust me, I know. I just got the saddle a bit ago, and had a white one before that. New tape is in the future, but not in a rush. The mount, is in due time. Birthday probably.

From the looks of it that tape will be black before you know it.

It is a nice bike.
