When I go into winter strong, this routine keeps me from losing to much, but as dmanthree said upthread, there’s always an adjustment come Springtime. 10 years ago, before everyone and their mamma was on Zwift, it was a real jump start on the season, but now, it’s barely keeping me from getting dropped on the spring opener!
Rode a few days ago for an hour twenty, and that was too long. I wanted to try out my new setup.

About 45 minutes is my "sweet spot," unless I am in a group ride or event. Although I can hold my own on club rides, at least in my age group, on Zwift I am a solid "D" level rider. So, I am looking for those events this winter.

Oh, I meant “sweet spot” as in the power-based training concept, not ride time. Here’s an info piece on sweet spot training from TrainerRoad:

Yea...I know. "sweet spot" can mean alot of things, depending on context.
