I didn't get into coffee until my career started, but now I need it. One stronk mug in the morning. The pattern seems to be genetic - that's about what my mother does, and my sister took to it after me (despite her being older and in a different household at that point) and also needs the one stronk mug, first thing. No "drive to Starbucks"; coffee occurs before pants.

I didn't use to drink coffee. Dad and sometimes my grandparents drank instant coffee. Nescafe Classic if they were feeling wealthy. Gregs or International Roast if the weekly shopping list was long. I thought coffee was a burnt, acidic, bitter tasting drink. Mum drank tea as did my grandparents most of the time. mid level tea such as Liptons. Plain most of the time, Earl Grey if we were feeling fancy. I grew up preferring tea.
I still wont drink instant coffee. If that is all that available then I drink tea, rooibos, herbal teas or water. I'm also fussy over filter coffee.
BTY my PCR test came back negative. and I'm feeling more like a human each day.

Doctor had me off all caffeine for weeks one time years ago. Got headaches for a few days, then I just missed it. Now I just have one cup in the morning except if a ride stops for coffee. One of my friends will have a triple espresso on rides. Seems to rev him up a bit.

Tried to take advantage of the downsize as well, turns out the mediums, while fine in the waist, are WAY too small in the chest and shoulders for me. Guess I need to lay off the roids.
