The list of new recipients is getting pretty short. Time to ask for new player or even return players. If the Exalted Box O' Crap goes into stasis, it will have to come back to me to be placed in cold storage until others step up. Please don't let it get that point. BF members, Please sign up. Smiles, CrapMaster Honk

BOC, all 32 lbs of it, landed on my porch yesterday, a day early. I am new to this and felt quite intimidated when I opened it up - how could I possibly get everything back into the box if I dared to take things out in search of a gem? Finally, I dove in and found myself a set of mtb spd pedals I can put on my old Bianchi (because I hate road pedals), an Avocet seat post with some bits needed for my own Avocet seat post, and another seat post which may allow me to get my stoker's seat a few mm's lower. Not bad. Next challenge is to reload and add some bits that will fit and maybe be at least a little different than what was already in there. Hope to have it on its way later today or tomorrow.

Thank you BF members, for sharing your crap in this box! The USPS box was hefty indeed. That Sekine pie plate is still hanging around! Due to the handling on its way over here, the box was looking pretty beaten, so I transferred everything into a brand new box, and now it's refreshed and ready to travel to its next destination!

Opening shot:

My take:

I will definitely use those Modolo calipers, pedals, and hubs on a couple of projects I have lined up. And I was missing some skewers, so I grabbed a couple of those as well. I took the liberty of removing some crap that was at "beyond crap" status, and I added some "new" crap for the BOCers down the line. Great thing we have going on here!! Like Mad Honk said, please join the group so we can keep this BOC going! The Crapness is now headed to Schreck83. Enjoy!!

aceves Might be worthwhile to display a pic of the "beyond crap" bits so people get a little feedback about what's not good enough.

I might also request that a picture of the "Crap" within that is under the tax folder and the zuchini pie plate. The pie plate has been seen a bit more than most would like, even though it is a head-badge for the BOC. The tease is nt quite the same if all we see is the pie plate and red tax folder. I am assuming that the supply of BOC frame stickers is still sufficient. Smiles, CrapMaster Honk.

I'm happy to see that the Superbe pedals I added to the box have found a home! Rough looking, but smooth. Enjoy.

A teaser shot is part of the agreement, but I’ve also come to love seeing the Sekine dork disc and will miss it when it’s gone.

Thank you JulesCW for the pedals! And smontanaro, as far as the beyond crap bits, I did not take a pic. They were rusty bits with missing bolt/nuts/parts. I needed to make room for new crap, so I took out the worst of them and added non-rusty items... Hope that is OK with the BOC group. And yes, the BOC frame sticker supply is still strong. Keep on biking, everyone!!

Dave,
Perhaps a shot of the head- badge and a teaser shot with the head badge removed might be the answer. Smiles, CrapMaster Honk

The calipers came off a parts bike I bought to snag a Rally RD off of. I kept them thinking that someday I'd use them, but I needed the space. The DA hubs came off of my Colnago Super. I wanted to switch to Campy hubs and I kept these just for the purpose of finding a good home for them on either the ISO thread or the BoC.

Thank you SwimmerMike for the hubs! They are definitely going on a retromod build I have ready to go. I'll try to post pics once it's all done. The calipers are going on a different parts build.

Again a call out for players! The BOC needs plenty of recipients to be very fun and functional due to it's nature. Plenty of good things being passed around to the C&V community. Please join in the fun. Smiles, CrapMaster Honk.

That aluminum liner is just some race car sheeting that can be straightened repeatedly. Take a small hammer to the dents and dings to get the liner straight again. It makes reloading the parts a bit easier, and sign the liner while you have it out for repairs. Smiles, CrapMaster Honk

In the olden days, very crappy Simplex Delrin derailleurs seemed to dominate. It's skewers' turn I guess.
