One is a ctc 55cm Daccordi Griffo with most of the braze-ons filed off and a missing bottle cage boss. It's a bit of a project, but if you think you can handle, you can take it. Fork is included. The second frame is a what I believe to be a 1983 Miyata 1000, size 56cm ctc. The frame is cosmetically challenged, but the are no structural compromises like dents or severe rust. The one real caveat is that bottom bracket is that proprietary Suntour unit that requires a special tool to remove; the PO couldn't remove it and neither can I. Otherwise, it's a decent project.
At this point I would like to give it to someone who is local within the Bay Area, but if you are not located here I am sure we can work something out with the facilitators. If you would like more information or photos on the frames let me know and I will try to answer them to the best of my abilities in a timely manner.
Thanks for your time,
Philpeugeot

If only they were my size. Hopefully someone in the Bay can take them!

The Daccordi is the perfect size for me as a fixie/single speed, which I am guessing is the only thing it can do at the moment.

Way cool.

The Miyata IS my size but hoping it finds a good home.

Edit: The Daccordi is actually 56cm ctc. I hope this news has not inconvenienced anyone.

Maybe @73StellaSX76 or @SwimmerMike or @davester can help?

I'd be willing to braze on a derailleur hanger for cheap and help with repairs. I can't stand seeing a perfectly good frame that just needs a bit of torchwork on it.

I'm in for the Miyata if a facilitator materializes and is cool doing double duty.

Thinking about it, if jdawginsc wants it, it’s all his. 56 cm is a touch too big for me and my 30” inseam.

Sorry, I'm just about to jump on a plane to Mexico for a 6-week sailing trip and am running around like a madman trying to get ready so there's no way I could get down to San Mateo before I leave.

All -

I can help. I was planning on being a stowaway on a 6 week sailing trip in Mexico, but I couldn't find the right boat ended up at the Farlons and swam back.

It might take a bit of time to get them shipped, but I can clear the frames from @philpeugeot quickly to remove any pressure on him.

@philpeugeot We can connect on how to get the frames to me. I'm thinking if you are doing the Saturday ride, I can throw a rack on my car drive you home and grab the frames. PM me and we can close.

I haven't followed the thread so I don't know who is getting what, and it also sounds like the shipping might be to @gugie on one of them. We can close through PMs, if we want to use a LBS I can help arrange. If I'm shipping will need to work the details.

SwimmerMike that sounds excellent! I believe that jethin and jdawginsc are taking the Miyata 1000 and Daccordi, respectively. I hope things work out. See you on Saturday.

APB: I've decided that my paltry mechanical skills just aren't up to the challenge philpeugeot's Miyata frameset above. For the love of Pete someone take it, build it up and post some pics so we can drool over them! And a BIG thanks to philpeugeot and SwimmerMike for putting this sweet project in play!

There is now a new recipient of the Miyata. We’re closing details through PM. So it looks like both bikes are landing in new homes and will have a new life.
