Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What's the worst that could happen? Just get a 400mm seatpost and a 150mm stem.

Chainrings and FD for Interim Build #2 are 'Out For Delivery'. Replacement crank fixing bolt to match the one original that came with the cranks is set to arrive on the 20th, as are the cables. LBS sez he can swap the Athena BB for the Dura Ace 'while you wait'. It looks like this weekend will be the debut and farewell performance for Interim Build #1.

Anyone want a pair of Sachs New Success Ergos and RD?

I remember the time in High School when we had a big thunderstorm roll through town just before football practice, so it wasn't raining but the practice field was completely sodden. That was fun. One of the wide receivers told the QB to throw the ball long so he could dive for it and slide in the mud.

I climbed that way when I was a novice and still do, when I’m in survival mode.

I was unable to install a SRAM quicklink on a Shimano chain recently. I didn't try really hard. I just went and got a Shimano compatible one. In my old age I find myself using quicklinks and cartridge BBS more than I used to
