Peugeot tandems are surprisingly rare as compared with Follis and Gitane for example

appears to be mid 1970's era

Based on the decals and rear derailleur, I'd place this 1976-1978. The version with the men's frame style for both the captain's and stoker's position was called the TH8.The combined mens/mixte version was called the TM8. Tandems don't appear in Peugeot literature until 1978, so I wonder if that is the actual year? If it is very late 1970s, we should be able to determine the actual manufacturing date from the serial number.

@SoCaled - Are you looking for a value? there is a lot of rust and with the missing parts, I wouldn't pay more than $175. There is a lot of work to be done and parts are not always interchangeable on top of it being French. Purchasing it is a commitment! Not to mention if it fits you and your intended stoker.
It is a double with a missing FD or no?
You might get more info over on the Tandem forum. Tandem Cycling - Bike Forums
