Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Now that we have power back it’s cooking time. Gonna try another loaf of sourdough, prep/rise today and bake tomorrow. My starter has gotten a little sharper smelling so I hope results are a little more sourdough flavor. First one tasted great but was almost same as regular bread.

Dan333SP already has a ride logged today and I'm probably not going to kick you off. The next nearest is bampilot06 and he needs close to 70 miles. So yeah, unless Dan goes out to spite you, I think you're safe.

Then again, LAJ hasn't uploaded a single ride this week, so yeah - you might be toast.

A friend of mine took this today. Guy caught it in a lake down in S. Philly near the stadiums. 20 lbs. Carpe diem.

I wouldn’t eat anything that came out of “The Lakes,” as they are referred to. Every now and then someone will catch a snakehead fish. They are an invasive species. No one know how they got into the lakes, but they can survive on land for up the four days of their skin stays wet.

We have snakehead fish here in dc area lakes/rivers too. No one here seems to know how an invasive species from the far east have been introduced to mid Atlantic region
