Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

2016 Seven Mudhoney Pro size 54.5. Looks like traditional cross geometry to me but BB drop measures a bit larger than usual.
Parlee cross/gravel fork on a Cane Creek 110 headset
Enve SES 4.5AR wheels with 32mm Gravelking slicks (measuring ~35mm on these rims. This frame can clear bigger tires)
Mechanical 11sp Campagnolo Super Record derailleurs and levers with an Ultegra cassette and chain
Quarq DZero Carbon crank, Praxisworks 46/36 rings, XT8100 SPD pedals
TRP Spyre SLC mechanical disc brakes
Deda Zero stem and bars
Deda Superzero seatpost
Fizik Aliante carbon-railed saddle
Slica saddle bag, King Cage Ti cages

Handsome bike! I need to look into that saddle bag...

Finally finished for my wife, a gravel adventure bike for bikepacking. We have two trips planned for this summer, one that we'll use thinner tires on and another that these are the suggested minimum size. 2x10 with 11-34 cassette and 42/29 crank. 25.23lbs as you see it.

Very nice get with the limited edition colorway! I saw that first and was bummed to see it was sold out, didn't want the black. Jumped on the white one when it came out.

Nice 24 mile gravel loop around Diamond Valley Lake in Hemet CA on the Niner. Plenty of other riders on full squish MTB's, but a good gravel bike is the perfect tool for this loop:

Looks like an awesome pace to ride! How many miles total around that lake?

It's 22.5 miles around the lake. Relatively flat for the most part, lots and lots of turns. There are a few steep climbs, but they're short.

That’s pretty wild and fun! Do the spoke covers rattle and make a fuss, though?

I have some purple Velocity rims— Blunts— on one of my bikes, too!

When walking the bike you can hear them, when riding next her I never noticed a noise. She'd like some purple blunt ss for her mountain bike but that won't be till fall at the earliest. Still have to buy a lighter tent, new sleeping bag for me, and a round of cargo cages to carry the sleeping equipment with. At least we have all the rest of the camping equipment.

Have you folks seen the Spinergy 29er LX wheelset? She could score purple spokes, save a little weight, and save +$450...but they’re 2.6mm narrower internal. But, she could do some trick stuff with the PBO spoke colors!

At 1622g it wouldn't reduce the weight, her wheels are right about there due to spoke selection, hubs and nipples. The spokes are cool but I don't trust the brand from past experiences.

Gonna have to check this out. Didn't realize the entire loop was unpaved! Thought about taking the roadie out there, so nevermind that. Gravel bike it is.

About 4 miles of the 22 miles is paved, and that's when you're riding across either of the two huge damn areas. The remainder is a mixed of packed gravel and some rocky dirt. A perfect gravel bike ride! Park at the marina (pay $15 for parking and trail pass) and you can ride the loop in either direction. I chose clockwise.

Love this conversion! What type of fork is that? Almost looks like a Cannondale Headshock.

Oh cool--I'm just looking it up now. How does it ride? Similar to a Head Shock as well?

I can feel it working, so it rides fine I guess? It only has like an inch or something of travel and it's pretty heavy, but otherwise ok

I crashed my 5-month old Lynskey GR300 last week. AC joint separation shoulder and clavicle. Not major enough for surgery but I’m off any type of riding for awhile. Only possible damage I saw on the bike was a tweaked right brake lever - possibly just shifted on the bars, and RD shifting issue which I can’t diagnose without putting on a repair stand. Can’t lift anything so that’ll have to wait. Meanwhile I’ll just stare sadly at my bike pre-crash.

2021 All-City Space Horse. Got it back in October, did as much gravel/trail riding as possible before the snow hit. Excited for the snow to melt.
