Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Cold rockin' the natty fab...

After a few months of riding fixed, I finally got to the point where I can trackstand consistently. I can even do no-handed trackstands, albeit shakily. As I was out practicing trackstands and riding backwards, I thought back to the Fabian threads and what became the "natty fab". I tried it, and sure enough, here it is:

So... am I cool, now, too?

yea when ella came to sf she gave me one of those shirts. funny stuff. im not the cut off t type so i gave it away at one of the polo fields gatherings in SF as a prize for the dumbest trick which ended up being no handed trackstanding on a ghetto conversion while drinking 2 buck chuck from the bottle.

Yeah, it's a nice hat and it has a cool logo. I'm kind-of a hat person, though.

*blink, blink*

What's wrong with an FGG hat?

I hope Nathan got a shirt. And Tim, despite some misinformation on this thread, you are now the epitome of cool.
