I’m looking for a 54 cm/ 21” Schwinn Voyageur frameset. I have an 19” 1988/89 Schwinn Voyageur that I could trade as well if someone is interested in sizing down.

I'm looking for some hard-to-find black anodized Shimano deer head parts for an old '84 Stumpjumper SC rehab project:
  • SL-M700 shifters
  • BR-MC70 brake calipers and hopefully straddle cable hanger (just 1 wheels worth)

I somehow stumbled into having two NOS Campagnolo brake calipers from different eras. One pre-CPSC standard reach nutted front, and an 80's script-logo recessed rear (w/alum. pad holders). I'd love to find someone to do a trade to make one or two proper pairs. Anyone have a mate or two?

@jeirvine,
These were acquired about a year ago from a BF member who was downsizing his home. They came in as a matched pair and are relatively clean and some minor brake pad wear. Lemme know, Smiles, MH

FYI, I'll gladly straighten that fork if you are willing to cover the shipping to and from - provided it's not heat-treated tubing.

I have a couple decent, slightly bent French forks if you (or anyone) wants to cover shipping…

I'd gladly straighten them for you if you're willing to pay the shipping to and from. Least I can do given that I have the tools.

(Unless this was supposed to be an in-joke about how many French builders lined the rear edge of the blade taper with the crown, in which case, apologies for the /woosh).

Saw one on San Diego Craigslist. See if the seller will ship, or check facilitator threads.

Looking for the following for a cockpit for a Puch Vent Noir:

GB Ventoux handlebars (the ones with the map on them)
GB stem (gray anodized, ideally (long shot!), but silver would work)
Dura Ace first generation brake levers

Have all sorts of things for trade, etc.

Thanks in advance!

I have a pair of the early DA levers, no hoods or cable tops/ferrules, but possibly may have a pair in the odds and ends small parts pile.
PM me.
I had pix from years ago so can probably find them and email you those.

Requester has not PM'd me so am adding these pix here, instead:

note one blade is "flatter" than the other, no idea why that is. Both have 23.5 clamps

26 x1 3/8” 40h EA3

I rode this resurrected Western Flyer last summer with a 1-2 inch flat spot on the rear rim.

I can’t seem to find a 26 x 1 3/8” 40h EA3 wheel on Amazon or eBay.

If you have one that’s round, straight and chromey, please PM me.

Not chomey and not a whole wheel, but it looks like SJS Cycles in the UK is selling an EA3 alloy rim in 40-hole drilling:

https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/rims-tap...-hole/?geoc=US

Otherwise, your best bet might be to cannibalize a wheel from another 3-speed. In my area, small lady's frames tend to go cheap and make for good parts donors.

How about loosen the spokes, remove about six, and have a go at it with a rubber mallet - you've nought to lose.

The women’s frame is a good thought - thanks. And I appreciate the SJS link.

Thanks for the idea. The entire bike was rusted solid when I got it. The crank and SA hub were seized. Similarly, the spokes are rusted solid to the rim, hence my desire to find a new rim. I’ve located a few women’s 3-speeds locally on Craigslist for $20-50, so I’ll likely buy one of those to scavenge a rear wheel.

@theofam - Mark on the brake surface where the transition starts for the flat spot on both sides of it. Also mark where it is the most flat. Loosen the spokes a lot so you can allow for the rim to flex a bit. then do this kind of thing.
P1030737 on Flickr

As the rim is displaced the transition points will move closer to the flat spot. Step and repeat until the flat spot is nearly gone. Watch for the rim wall width and don't let it change. Us can use smaller clamps to retain the correct width.
Want more pictures of the work? Go here.

ISO/FT Italian BB cups and lock ring. I have spindles without cups!
I don't want to pay the bay prices, I would be willing to give up a spindle you might need or a Phil Wood BB or....

Let me know what you need/desire.
