I don't know if there might be any issues with brake compatibility, but you can check that with a mechanic. Also, are you SURE you need new cranks?

Its ultegra 5800 or 5700 or 5600 or 5500, I can’t remember. It’s a triple so I would imagine I would need new cranks. Plus they are chrome and I am switching to black, maybe silver havnt decided.

IIRC, brake lever pull changed between x600 and x700, the same time that the shift cable routing went under the bar tape (instead of jutting out from the inside of the lever). IOW, if your current levers have cables sticking out, using your old calipers would give you compromised braking. Honestly, though, it might not matter that much for you/your terrain; I ran 5700 levers with 5600 calipers for a few years and it wasn't horrible.

I got most of my R8000 stuff on Ebay. You have to look, and look, but in the end you might find it cheaper.

Ok I have a test today for all you studs, a little more testosterone required than the daily Wordle contest. How many of these tools can you identify?
This is some of my dad's stuff that I reclaimed 24 years ago when he passed on. He was a truck mechanic in the military but later got into construction and cabinetry . . . you should see the altar he made for his church. Awesome. He was a master of all trades he dipped his hand into, and was self-taught in most of them. That's how they rolled in those days.
Anyway, I have to get rid of some of this stuff I've been holding onto for years. He's got power tools from the days they were made of metal so they weigh a ton. and of course they all still work. I'm going to take a lot of the stuff to a consignment shop because I just don't have the time and patience for eBay.
I'll be showing more as I dig through this dusty workshop of mine.

small drum sander. That odd looking square thing is a plumbing tool. I think it's for seat removal. Tack remover.tap handle. 2 Allen wrenches. Lady slipper. two taps and a masonry drill bit. The cone shaped thing...dunno. another masonry bit next to the brass thing and a large wood drill bit for knob holes in doors in the small box 3 box end wrenches.

), I sat in with a different group last night and got absolutely drenched at the end (my shoes are still drying out and I need to drain my wheels 
).
One of the guys that I ride with also rides with this group, so I tagged along. It was billed, by my buddy, as a ride with some pretty hard efforts but, evidently, some of the strongest riders were absent, spectating some race or another in France.
I pushed on stretches where I was told that they pushed and I chased any and all wheels that tried to go off the front. With three days off the bike, my legs were pretty fresh and, besides, I was wearing my flash maroon bibs - you can't show up in something flamboyant like that and loaf off.
I think that a few of the guys were happy to have me there and really enjoyed the effort, but I got the feeling that others may not have been as thrilled. I think that some were hoping for/anticipating an easier ride with some of their high-strung mates on vacation. Oh well, I guess I see if I get invited back

I love those rides where people are just there to get it done and over. I make em mad. Lol. I've been thanked for my "fresh enthusiasm " before. It's fun.

Speaking of which, i’ve have already started thinking about Christmas this year. Besides a couple more thermal bibs, and maybe one more thermal jersey or base layer. I’ve been thinking A, 105 11 mechanical for the ritchey. Depending on how much the price drops, B. Super team wheels for the Ritchey. Thinking 35-45 mm deep. C. Power meter for the Ritchey, Single side pedals D, Easton carbon bars for the Cervelo. E, A spare set of superteam wheels for the cervelo.

From what I've been told/read. No mechanical 12 speed groupsets will be offered. 12 speed will be reserved for electronic shifting only. Shimano and Sram. The exception will be Campy. I don't know about those Italian fellers.

Still would like to put a set back seat post on it, and swap the seat out. The small changes I have made to it has decreased the weight.

The fit changes I have made to the fleet are proving to be very popular with my ass. 62 mile ride yesterday, in unbelievable wind, and except for a saddle sore that pre existed the ride, my ass was very happy. One bike to go, the zwifting machine, just waiting for a stem to show up. I hardly move around at all now.

Realistically I think I’ll just be keeping it. Plus, I still have the original Wheels, so anything I buy for it, I will be keeping if I ever sell it.

friend / framebuilder spread the rear triangle ; not something he recommended - but said if done carefully / slowly should not be an issue
I rode the frame for a couple of years after this with no issue
he also rode a Cannondale at one point with rear triangle spread from 126 to 130mm
