Creeps, both young and old, I salute you.
You have made this young Burlesquer happy today. I have a massive list of people to get in contact with now and am positively bubbling over with excitement about creating this new act. I love how much you know about bikes and I hope to do you all proud and make one of these bikes truly, Shine.
My sincerest thanks,
Josephine
(P.S. I'll contact everyone but, deep down I really hope Linus picks up on this. They're my new bike crush)

And, Rat Rods! Never heard of 'em. Simply divine (and totally ridiculous)! They could definitely rock the stage. If anyone knows of a company making flashy Rat Rods, let me know.
Rivendell is mouth-watering, but too pricey I think.

If you want to see some bikes that look vintage-funky yet also kind of space-age, look for posts here by member steppinthefunk. I haven't seen him around here lately, but he does some VERY cool work. They would look GREAT as a prop for your kind of show.
Here's an example:
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread......?highlight=
However he is a hobbyist, not a company, as far as I know, and I don't think anyone is commercially building bikes in the style that he does. Though in a perfect world, someone would!

She needs a rat rod. She has a look that reminds me of the art found on airplanes from WW2. Contact Felt bicycles and ask for Jim (Felt). They offer a variety of "fun motif" bikes. Good luck!

If you want some literary material, I suggest reading The Third Policeman, by Flann O'Brien -- contains some artful bicycle erotica, against a background that's, well, a state of bizarre psychosis.

Not sure anybody would want to squirm around naked on that thing...
You might try looking around here:
https://www.ratrodbikes.com/
and see what you find. Heck, the website itself might be interested in sponsoring you to get their name out there.
I think you should be looking for a custom builder, rather than a manufacturer. As fun as it may sound, manufacturers want the broadest appeal for clientele, and associating with something so risque may be bad for business for them. There are as many people that think it is wrong as there are people that like it, and unfortunately as a manufacturer you have to strive to alienate as few people as possible.

Around here all the lowriders and rockabillies hang at all the same car/bike shows. Tons of chola/poodle skirt crossover in the ladies' fashions at these shows too.
They make lowriders with tuck 'n roll saddles also, if that's a concern
I'm thinkin' the chrome would look killer under stage lights.
Rat Rod Whizzer or rat rod bicycle with an engine would be cool too. Nothin' like a little noise and the smell of 2-stroke to get a crowd of rockabillies stoked.

That thing totally creeps me out. I mean, in a word, yuck.
I'm also not convinced having the bike on a trainer/stand is the way to go. There has to be motion, and the risk inherent to riding a bicycle. How about having a tandem on rollers, while the captain pedals along, oblivious to what the stoker's doing? That would have some dramatic, as well as comedic, potential.

Just want to say that I really appreciate the responses here,
this thread could have gone south really fast. It didn't and it's
a credit to y'all keeping it on topic and actually offering up some
very good ideas (even if I personally think those ratrods are butt ugly).

I don't know, maybe she'd do better posting in the alt bikes subforum with all their chopped bikes and lowriders over there, that sounds like the look she's going for.

I can't believe nobody has suggested a bike with shorties yet. Or custom removable fenders that have shorties underneath, then you can remove the shorties... oh wait this isn't about bicycle striptease is it.

Possibly too much of a mix between Burlesque and Pin-up, but does this photo of Marilyn Monroe provide any inspiration?

No one cares
I'm seriously surprised this thread has only made it three pages in the day it's been here. And I don't mean that as a compliment

Agreed. I think she came to the right place - where else are you going to get a bunch of retro bicycle fans in one area?
