$200 - Klein Stage Comp 57cm

57cm Klein Stage Comp - $200

based on the serial number it appears to be a 1997 model. Light fast and stiff. Comes with everything you see: seatpost, BB & headset, stem, bars and Shimano 105 front derailleur. I normally wouldn't include a derailleur but the seat tube is a wacky size. Also includes the downtube cable stops - see pics they are a bit corroded but usable with some cleanup.

Its in decent shape, headset feels good, BB is a cartridge unit, paint is mostly good. There's a wear spot on the top tube from handlebar strike, only ding is a tiny one in the top tube (look at the google photo album, you might not even notice it but in the spirit of full disclosure - there it is)

Measurements:
57cm top tube (c-to-c)
55cm seat tube (c-to-c)
56cm seat tube (c-to-top of top tube)
59cm seat tube (c-to-top of seat post collar)

rear hub width 130mm

Yes, I will. Next time, instead of hoping we will see it, report it and ask us to move it.

Not a good candidate for 650B?

No, the way the stays are indented (see the photo album) there's not any extra clearance to be gained by moving to 650B and likely the widest tire it would fit as 650B is not more than 28mm. Not worth it to convert and gain 3mm of width IMFAO

A few years ago I bought exactly that same year and model in the next size up, it's a nice frame. IIANM, this was right after Klein was bought out by Trek, but they were still being hand made in the US by the same people. It doesn't show very well in the photo, but the paint job is something to behold, deep and lustrous. Klein was known for their paint jobs.

I was actually able to squeeze 28's on mine, but maybe Vittoria's lack of truth in advertising had something to do with that. I ran Vitoria Randonneur Crosses in Houston for a summer. Mine came with a triple and I pretended it was a CX bike. Had lots of fun riding the trails. I also did a century on it - quite comfortable. My brother is the current owner and he loves it.
