There's a solution for that: https://www.cxmagazine.com/trp-hy-rd-...oad-cyclocross

But I've read so many reviews of the Spyres touting their awesomeness. I have to be doing something wrong.

I recently picked up a Raleigh Willard with Spyres and am very happy with the brakes. However, I'm coming from a vintage road bike and may have lower expectations.

Hmm, maybe I need to look into adjusting them again. I've read they need "bedding in" and while I'm not sure exactly what that means I'm assuming they get better with a little use. Hopefully.

Hi all. I was referred here from a thread I started. Trying to join the Raleigh Corporate site, but CYCLE4PERK has expired and can't create an account.

How often does Raleigh send out codes?

I'm very happy with the bike. I'm confident that any tire marked 700x40 will fit. I'm not sure my 700x45 WTB Riddlers will fit, I haven't tried them.

The bike feels light and responsive and the Carbon Fiber frame is very smooth. I like the Shimano 5800 drivetrain and hydraulic brakes.

Is it better than other Carbon Fiber gravel bikes? Hard to say. It is certainly more comfortable and plush riding than aluminum and its lighter and more responsive than steel.

Same one. Even at $1040 it's a good deal but at $799 it was a steal

Great deal.Congrats to everyone that bought at $800.

The STUNTMAN is still down $200 at $1300 and few other Raleighs are lower now.

After getting the Tamland 1 delivered finally had a chance today to take it out for a short ride. I thought it was as good as I was expecting. It felt solid and comfortable. I took it on pavement and some trails that had tons of roots. On the pavement i went over some rumble strips and it was a drastic different from what I would feel on my aluminum road bike. On the trails it was great too. Lots of roots on the trail as well as some larger and small gravel and it handled it all well. On the pavement I didn't really push the pace so can't say too much about speed vs road bike. Shifting was very smooth.

I know one guy who said he logged onto the regular site, and upon getting the "may I help you" instant message asked about the codes and was given one that worked for him. Worth a shot.

Yes, that's the fully discounted corporate price. It only displays the discounted price to members. Order and enjoy!

I have cash that I've been saving..... Now I gotta figure out a way to buy it without the wife knowing. Do they not take PayPal? If not, I'll have to put the money on a Visa gift card.
