It's field trip Friday.
Half day Friday is here, and we will make it a field trip Friday. I was off to visit a little trail network about 25 minutes from work for the first time. My goal for this year is to visit at least two new areas to ride a month, whether it's with the trail or road bike. I've driven my car and rode my road bike by this area hundreds of times over the years, but never stopped to check it out. So, during the week this area popped into my head, so I figured why not make it a field trip Friday ride. It's not big trail network but it did have some fun spots and several good climbs. Might be an area to take Mrs. Z for a hike, I know she would like some of the more open trails.
