Why can't I get photos to insert?

I'm using Flickr. I can copy and paste the URL of the photo I want to display, but it just pastes in the link. That works, but how do I make an actual picture appear in a post?

Use the Insert Image icon, not the Insert Link one. Make sure you are copying and pasting the full url image location.

Wrap IMG Tags around the image URLS

That didn't work.

edit - I used the insert image icon and pasted in the above link. When I posted, my comment showed the tags around exactly the same link that appears above. But as you can see it still didn't work. Oh well.

Further edit: if I right click the red box above and select properties, it shows the correct address but indicates it's "not available."

I think I'm done worrying about this for now.

Take off all the characters after 'jpg' IE: ?v=0
And here's what you get when you put the img tag around it

Just click "insert image" and insert the url: https://farm1.static.flickr.com/131/3...22aa67.jpg?v=0

One dog owner to another. (I'm guessing you have a dog, unless you've found some other, unconventional use for those metal bowls.)

I right clicked on your photo and selected "copy image location", then came here and opened the post/reply editor and clicked on the yellow mountain peak button, then pasted the url there.

Thanks for your patience; I think I finally understand. I was navigating to the photo in Flickr and copying the URL that appeared in my browser. That's a different URL than I get if I right click the photo and select properties. The latter procedure gives me the URL that actually needs to get pasted in.
