joesch -
the forum has had several threads on these -
https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...and-bikes.html
https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...ona-italy.html
https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...lo-reborn.html
note the common thread of South Carolina; likely a marque done for an importer/retailer there

interesting to note that your example exhibits a different crown than that of the others which have been discussed
so are you inquiring regarding value for purchase?

The bike would be too small for me in any event but I may like to harvest those nice old bits for another classic that I may find this year. Would like to have a higher end bike from early 70s or more vintage.

me guess, and its only a wylde guess, is that they represent a single order contract build executed ~1971-72
no guesses as to manufacturer
perhaps the new thread you have created will stimulate some additional discussion...
btw - that "different" crown appears it may be Agrati item N. 005.8048. this pattern employed in conjunction with lug pattern "AM".
image not high enough rez for positive i.d.
size -
text in the advert you posted states 54cm yet in current ad found it gives a size of 52cm which would think to be the more accurate
price -
posted price within reason and not excessive
would expect a pillar size of 26.2mm or 26.4mm for quality plain gauge tube set

Yes and not sure if its still available but I do have a better idea now of the regard and value based on the links.

If your looking to buy for parts I would pass on this one most of the parts are pretty much bottom end for early 70's Italian stuff while campy the Gran Turismo stuff 2nd from the bottom of all the campy stuff with only the Valentino stuff being lower. Nearly any decent 70's or 80's components would be better than the ones on this bike.
Looks nice on a vintage display bike and those in the know do not want to use for riding if given a choice

Hi, Does anybody know how to identify the 35mm BB Ghisallo with the number M3B00349? I bought this frame yesterday and can't find any information about this bike brand name on the internet except this forum.
I saw several threads about Ghisallo bikes which suggest an Italian bike brand/manufacturer. The one that I have seems a Japanese model with a Sugino seat post lock screw, Tange 1 stamp on the seat tube saying Cro-mo seamless tubing double-butted tube, "Shimano EF" and "Tange TR" engraved on the rear and front dropout, respectively.
Sorry, I can't upload any images since a new member. Hope you could have any information about this Ghisallo frame model.

a thirty-five millimeter bottom bracket would be metric thread which would not be found on a Nippon product
the BSC/ISO thread one would expect to find on such a product has a pitch diameter of thirty-four point eight five millimeter

juvela You are right. Saying 35mm is the inner diameter of BB shell that was measured by metered tape. But I remember that it is more likely 34.8mm than 36mm. Is it safe to say the BB is BSC type for now?
yes, indeed
you shall need to post images before you can get much substantive help from the forum
one helpful clue toward manufacturer identity is the placement and format of the serial number
there is a place on your member page where you can create a "member photo album" - over on the right side
no minimum number of postings is required to do this
readers can visit the album and enter the images into the thread
tip: it would have been better to commence a new thread rather than glue your inquiry onto an existing discussion
