Addiction 2021.4

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I can't imagine it as a movie. Glad I missed it. But then I would've missed it anyway as i don't do movies much.

Correct.

When I arrived to the two-station room, there was a guy in the other seat watching Newsmax TV.

He was there until about 1:45. I'm not sure when he started, but he told the nurse he had arrived at 8:13. The nurse said he has another session tomorrow.

I asked what he's taking, but she didn't say.

I like mine a LOT better. Not sure on all the history of Storck, but that appears to be an older model. Seems like a reasonable price, though.

My dad was on it- when he lived in Mainland China for a couple of years his company paid to fly him to Hong Kong for infusion, was like 50-75k a pop

Are you talking USD?

I thought the doctor's office is bad, and it billed about $5,000.

Could be pecan pies.

Pizza pies or pecan pies, it's pretty mean of the UPS guy to stand 'em up like that.

Once when I was very young I carried a pizza home like that. My parents were amazed that they had spawned such a clod.

There was a guy in my club who brought one over from Germany before they were being sold here. It was all white iirc.
