Bren from the Toronto area here
been riding since ever since I got one as a kid - only started seriously riding for commuting purposes a few years ago in high school. I try to bike to wherever I need to be so long as it's feasible (for fitness and environmental reasons), though living in the suburbs makes it a little hard to get around for lack of proper infrastructure.
would love to stick around here to learn more about the workings of bikes and how to maintain them as I'm very much a layman in that regard
