GPS Repair kit

GPS Repair kit

Has anyone ever used one of those gps repair kit?
I need for repair the base of my bryton 420, but i was thinking to trim a bit the base since the kit will make it more tall....
Do you guys think i'am going to make a disaster by trimming some mm?

I think you should just accept that the repair kit will make it sit higher on the mount. Why does that bother you?

Does this particular repair kit give instructions for trimming anything so it can sit lower?

Because now i have the gps in line with the handlebar and with the repait kit will be more high. I don't wanna play around to find the perfect position to read.
maybe i'am too obsesses with details lol

If you do decide to trim the case of the Bryton GPS, just consider if it will really annoy you if you accidentally make a opening into its case that you can't seal up well or just the trimming might cause weakness to how the repair kit attaches and fits.

If you can easily afford to replace your GPS, then it won't matter if it turns out to be a disaster or not.

update: i trimmed some millimeters and there is nothing to worry.
