Bike computer, broken mounting tabs

Hi

Probably this is a rhetoric question. Is there any way to repair broken mounting tabs on a bike computer? I broke the tab at the bottom, and it will not hold securely in the mount. There is an ugly fix like in the second picture (scotch tape and/or rubber bands).
I see that there are many such questions for Garmin, and there exist some aftermarket bottom covers with replacement tabs. This is not the case for my computer (Sigma BC 23.16) because it is much less common.

You can secure it using a small amount of RTV silicone sealer between the computer and the mount AFTER putting in a brand new battery. If you do not get carried away with the amount you apply, you will be able to separate the mount from the computer when you need to replace the battery but it will not fall out on its own. Don't apply it to the contacts.

You can get Garmin 1/4 turn mount "phone case adapters" that use peel and stick tape. They should be able to adhere to the back of your Sigma, and use a Garmin mount.

Thanks! I only thought about how to restore the mounting tab. Actually gluing the computer to the mount permanently is a solution. The back part of the mounting bracket is attached using the four screws (so that it can be rotated to allow for both a handlebar mounting and a stem mounting). It can be unscrewed completely to allow for a battery change in the future.

This can also be done if the rear part of the mounting bracket is removed.
